Three Reasons Why Every Vehicle Should Be Equipped with StopFlex® Brake Hoses

The StopFlex® Stainless Steel Braided Brake Hose, manufactured by Classic Tube, is a flexible hose assembly that carries brake fluid to the brakes on all four corners of a vehicle. Flexibility and strength of the hoses are the most important factors in performance.

Safety
The StopFlex® hose is manufactured to meet compliance standards set by the DOT. The Department of Transportation specifies that a vehicle’s brake hose, for use on the street, must be able to pass all of their test procedures. These tests include pressure, elongation, and pull test, but most important is the “whip” test. The whip test subjects the hose to motion to mimic the movement of the hose during suspension and steering movement.

Service Life
The StopFlex® hose is constructed with a stainless steel braided design for long lasting superior performance under all conditions.

Effectiveness
The three layer StopFlex® design is made by starting with a Teflon PTFE liner, a stainless steel braid and a clear vinyl cover. The combination of these three materials provide virtually no volumetric expansion. The superior strength eliminates a spongy brake pedal feeling that most rubber brake hoses develop. This creates immediate response and confidence in your brake pedal application.

From performance to safety, the StopFlex® hose is designed with quality and precision
